The ICA has become increasingly popular over recent years as more and more people discover its contemporary charm. With a client list that speaks for itself (BBC, Dior, de Beers and Nike, to name just a few), the ICA is something of a perfect paradox. It enjoys a prestigious location on The Mall, opposite St. James’s Park, yet remains an understated and classic venue for a variety of corporate and private events.
Fusing bright white minimalism with beautiful regency features, the ICA provides a unique space in which to hold fairytale modern weddings and cosmopolitan corporate events and product launches. The eighteenth-century Nash and Brandon Rooms are spacious and elegant, whilst their terraces offer guests panoramic views of London. The West Garden sits behind the ICA and is an enchanting location for wedding photographs or summer drinks receptions. The ICA’s conference facilities are also second to none, with an auditorium, exhibition space and an on-site technical support team.
Launched in 1947 by a collective of artists, poets and writers as the home of modern, progressive culture in post-war Britain, the ICA has retained its authenticity. It is a blank canvas and allows clients to transform it for their purpose using lighting, sound and furnishings. Damien Hirst described it as “the cultural heartbeat of London”, and Peyton Events are proud to offer clients the chance to experience these inimitable spaces for themselves.
